Is KZ Tandingan eliminated in Singer 2018 next episode?

The ninth episode of The Singer 2018 has yet to air on March 16 but spoiler alerts online say that Filipino singer KZ Tandingan will be eliminated in the show’s next episode.

Although there are no verifications yet if the leaked information is true, various tweets claim that the singer will no longer move on to the next round after the ninth episode this week.

According to Twitter user Rory Smith, Tandingan initially chose to sing another Chinese song titled “Keyword”, but eventually changed it to Lorde’s Grammy-award winning song “Royals”.

He claims that Tandingan will no longer be moving forward in the competition as she will be apparently eliminated in the next episode, together with Chinese jazz singer James Li, as per Smith.

“KZ was eliminated from the competition. But she was brave enough to be a good singer. She deserves praise,” Smith said on Twitter.

However, he said that The Singer 2018 will have a “wildcard” competition wherein eliminated contestants will battle it out to regain their spot in the competition.

The information he revealed apparently did not sit well with some fans of Tandingan.

“I will not share any news about KZ because some reasonless fans of KZ attack me, the show, and efforts of all participants. I just want to say – just enjoy this show, singers’ voices. That’s the point,” he said.

According to his other tweets, Jessie J, who was absent in the last episode of the show due to sickness, will return to the show and perform Celine Dion’s hit “My Heart Will Go On”.

But whether these speculations are true or not, she sure makes Filipinos proud!
