An 11-year-old domestic worker was killed by his employers for eating food stored in the refrigerator without their permission.
His 7-year-old brother was also brutally beaten in the defence area of Lahore city in Pakistan.
The 11-year-old boy, Kamran, succumbed to his injuries, while his 7-year-old brother, Rizwan, was reported as seriously injured following the incident the house owners left the two boys in a hospital and fled the scene.

The victim Kamran and Rizwan from Bahawalpur district of Punjab province, had been working as domestic servants for a year in the house of a senior citizen named Nasrullah. Police have arrested five accused including Nasrullah, Mehmoodul Hasan and Shazia Bibi while a case was also registered under the murder and other sections against five people involved in the incident.
Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz and IG police took notice of the incident and summoned a report from concerned authorities as it came to fore that on the second day of Eid, reportedly, the victims were hungry and took food from the fridge.

When family members learned what the two brothers did, they were infuriated and tortured the brothers. Later on, they transported the two to a local hospital. During police interrogations, the accused confessed to torturing the young boys.
The Police were subsequently contacted by the hospital staff and an FIR was registered against all the five suspects under Section 302, 311, 34 of PPC and Punjab Restriction on Employment of Children Act 2016.
