Saudi Arabia has confirmed that there are 15 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the Kingdom, with one of them being a Filipino national, Al Arabiya reported.
According to the Ministry of Health, the 15 new patients brings the total number of COVID-19 cases to 118.

The Ministry added that the Filipino, as well as an Indonesian who also tested positive for the virus, came into contact with previous cases. They have now been placed under quarantine in a medical facility in Riyadh.
Aside from the Filipino and the Indonesian, other cases involve five Saudi national who had been in contact with a previous case, a citizen who came from Iran, a Saudi woman who came from Iraq, another local who came from Egypt, a Saudi man who came from the UK, and another coming from Switzerland. All of them have now been isolated and currently under medical care in various regions in the Kingdom.
Saudi Arabia has recently reported three new COVID-19 recoveries. It has also closed down malls, banned serving food in restaurants, as well as prohibited gatherings in open and closed public places like parks and beaches.
