Filipinos searching for a film that will capture their hearts and remind them of the unconditional family love can soon watch Miracle in Cell no. 7 as it hits UAE screens in time for Christmas.
The film is one of this year’s entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival that stars Aga Muhlach, together with Bela Padilla, Xia Vigor as well as other esteemed actors in the Philippines forming a powerhouse cast.
The story follows Joselito (Aga Muhlach) is a mentally-ill man who is wrongfully charged with sexually assaulting and murdering a little girl.
In prison he becomes friends with his fellow inmates and together they form a plan to smuggle his young daughter ( Xia Vigor) inside the cell! Years after, his daughter (Bella Padilla) becomes a lawyer and is determined to prove her father’s innocence.
The movie is a film adaptation of the original flick of the same name from Korea that was originally screened in 2013, earning over $80.3 million from the box office.
Miracle in Cell no. 7 is expected to screen in UAE cinemas starting December 26.
