Filipinos continue to shine in their own fields of specialization for the whole world to see and this time, a Filipina has once again shattered the glass ceiling as Ann Ong is the only Filipina to showcase her magnificent jewellery collection at the VOD Dubai International Jewellery Show (VOD DIJS) 2019 at the Dubai World Trade Centre that runs until November 16.
Ong will showcase her “Nature is Gold” collection that is inspired by the elegance and importance of Mother Nature. Her eye for design has been recognized worldwide as she was recently hailed as the winner of Best Design in Sustainability award last 2016 in New York with her ‘Nature is Gold’ clutch.
Her organic, high fashion art pieces is the product of hours of hard work as well as the creativity that she has channelled by getting inspiration from Mother Nature.
Ong’s works were so alluring that Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Director General of the Government of Dubai Media Office, personally stopped by at her booth to view her magnificent jewellery collection.
Ann Ong is also a three-time Katha awardee. She will be showcasing her collection at VOD DIJS on November 14th, 5:00pm. Registration is free of charge to the public with doors opening from 2:00 pm onwards.
