Veteran actress Carmi Martin has been very vocal on the status of her heart.
The 56-year-old actress said that for now she is happy being single and grateful for all the blessing she has received throughout her career.
Despite being single, Martin however revealed to Pep.ph that she had colorful experiences with ‘would-be’ boyfriends who turned out to be gays after she rejected them.
“Ay, naku, maganda yung kuwento ko diyan… Nagka-boyfriend ako, at ngayon, friends kami at may boyfriend na siya. Minsan nga, nag-a-out of town pa kaming magkasama,” Martin said in an interview.
The actress then said that it has become an inside joke between her and ex-boyfriend that he became gay because of rejection.
“Ang parang naging joke nga, naging bading siya kasi dahil hindi na raw kami. Pero siyempre, nung kami pa, hindi ko naaamoy na ganun nga siya,” she added.
The actress said that her relationship with her ex-boyfriend lasted for eight months.
“At ang kagandahan, talagang girl na girl na siya. Ako nga walang boyfriend, pero siya meron. Ngayon, ang tawagan na namin, siya si tatay, ako si nanay, at yung boyfriend niya, anak,” she said.
Apart from her ex-boyfriend, Martin said she had a gay suitor which she later saw participating in gay Santacruzan after she rejected him.
