The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) announced on Sunday, June 10, Germany’s need for 500 Filipino nurses.
In an interview with DZMM, POEA administrator Bernard Olalia said the Filipino nurses who have not passed Germany’s licensure examination will earn 1,900 euros or Php118,266 while licensure passers will earn as much as 2,300 euros or Php143,165.
Applicants are required to pass an examination on German language proficiency to be able to qualify for the job posts available.
Interested applicants may send their application through POEA’s website or through private recruitment agencies.
Olalia, however, warned applicants to check if recruitment agencies are accredited by the POEA to avoid being victimized by scams.
“Kapag po wala doon sa listahan, at hindi po nakalagay doon kung sinu-sino ang mga empleyadong mag-represent dun sa agency na ‘yun, huwag po silang maniwala at hindi po ‘yun totoo,” Olalia said.
