AJMAN: To enhance security in the emirate, all residential, commercial and industrial buildings in Ajman will have to install surveillance cameras in order, media reports said.
The decision will take effect from October 2016, reported Al Bayan newspaper.
Brigadier Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, said the resolution would oblige all owners of residential, commercial and industrial buildings throughout the emirate of Ajman to install surveillance cameras by October, the report said.
The decision, he added, is aimed at reinforcing the safety and security measures, which the local government intends to implement across the emirate.
