After successfully fulfilling her dream of becoming an international student, 27-year-old Mae now shares her story of success as a Culinary Arts graduate in Canada.
Mae travelled to Ontario, Canada February last year to start her journey in the field of Hospitality and Culinary Arts. She acquired her visa with the help of The Visa Center—one of the top immigration firms in the Middle East.
“I fell in love with flavors and food. I admired how food brings family and friends together not only during occasions, but everyday life. Cooking requires not only skills, but arts and love for it,” shared Mae when asked about her main reason for choosing her course.
The Visa Center is partnering with several international educational institutions both in Canada and Australia, which offers multifaceted courses matching their clients’ backgrounds. The success of their processing of applications comes from more than 18 years of experience of the Head of their Processing team in the field of immigration.
The process of ‘making a dream into a reality’.
For Mae, achieving her goals comes one step at a time yet she also heavily emphasizes the value of acting on one’s goals.
“Your dreams become your goal, your vision in life. It empowers you to move towards your goal and do better. Dreams must not stay as dreams, always plan, and act on it. Dreaming might be the first step but working on achieving that dream and creating a pathway to your desired destination are the ways of putting yourself to the pinnacle of your dreams,” said Mae.
This, she said, is the very reason why she opted to grab the opportunity to have herself be assessed of her qualifications to immigrate to Canada after seeing an advertisement of The Visa Center online. They offer free digital consultations and have branches across the UAE and the Philippines.
One of the benefits of becoming an international student in Canada is being legally allowed to work as a part-timer. Mae is keen to share the fruits of her labor on her social media, which proves that nothing is too hard for someone who always strives to achieve success.
The next chapter of her journey
Having an educational credential from Canada now allows Mae to choose whether to process her application as a Permanent Resident (PR) or start with her dream business in the Philippines.
“I always wanted to be an owner and head of restaurant that provides good food for good life. I decided to take the course in culinary so that my passion will lead my career pathways to my dream profession,” shared Mae.
