A Dubai traffic accident left a man and woman dead when the minibus they were travelling on strayed off the road and crashed into a cement barrier.
The Dubai Police took to Twitter the incident that happened at Sheikh Rashid Street, close to the Garhoud Tunnel.

The driver lost control of their vehicle when one of the tires blew out.
Meanwhile, five other passengers of the minibus suffered minor injuries due to the incident. They were taken to Rashid Hospital in Dubai for treatment.
According to Brigadier General Ali Ghanem, director of Al Muraqqabat Police Station, UAE drivers should keep their vehicles well-maintained and repair malfunctions as soon as possible, as to prevent accidents like this that can cost lives because of the tire blowout.
