An Asian man and his wife (nationalities withheld) ended up in court after a heated argument over a bunch of bananas.
According to Emarat Al Youm, the feud started when the man went home from the grocery store with a bunch of green bananas.
Upon seeing the green bananas, the woman demanded her husband to return them in exchange for the yellow ones.
When the man denied his wife’s request, things escalated quickly and issues about their marriage were also brought up in the mess.
One of the things they argued about was about their children, who the wife claimed were never allowed to go out and socialize with other kids.
The judge in a Court of Misdemeanors in Ras Al Khaimah who heard their case postponed the verdict until the next hearing.
