Former two-division world champion Danny Garcia wants Philippine boxing champion, Sen. Manny Pacquiao to hang his gloves saying the latter has already contributed enough to the sports.
The boxer, also known as “Popeye”, wants to have a fight with Pacquiao and be the one to make him retire from fighting in the ring, says a report by Abante.
Garcia said he wants to become a legend by defeating the legend.
Garcia will be facing Ivan Redkach in a title bout on January 25.
He holds a record of two wins and two losses including a decision loss to Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter and the wins against Brandon Rios and Adrian Granados.
Pacquiao has beaten Thurman in a split decision and got the WBA 147-pound belt last July 2019.
