Manila city has the worst traffic in the world in 2023

Manila has been named the top city with the worst traffic in the world for 2023.

According to the TomTom Traffic Index’s report last year, Metro Manila’s traffic level was 52 percent, meaning drivers and commuters spend half their time in traffic than in normal circumstances.

The city’s average travel time per 10 kilometers was reported to be 25 minutes and 30 seconds. That is a 50-second increase from 2022’s 24 minutes and 50 seconds.

Meanwhile, Dubai’s travel time per 10 kilometers was reported to be 10 minutes and 20 seconds in the metropolitan areas.

Last year, Dubai Metro’s Blue Line project aimed to implement the “20-minute City Policy” where commuters can reach their destination within 20 minutes by metro within a 30-kilometer radius.
