The Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT) has decided to allow fully vaccinated tourists to Bohol and Boracay islands starting next month.
Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat said that they would accept fully vaccinated tourists who could show their proof of vaccination instead of a negative RT-PCR test.

Puyat said Bohol, which has been placed under Alert Level 2, can now accept fully vaccinated persons.
She announced that more tourist spots across the country are reopening and cited a drop in COVID cases and the increase in the number of fully vaccinated individuals for the easing of travel restrictions.
An executive order (EO) was issued to lift the negative RT-PCR test requirement for fully vaccinated tourists.

Those caught with fake RT-PCR test results or vaccination certificates would be fined Php 5,000 and made to undergo quarantine of five days in a DOT-accredited facility.
Ahead of the relaxations, airport and tourism sites in Camiguin have undergone renovations in preparation for the reopening of the province to non-essential travelers. (AW)
