Subsequent police investigations revealed that the man worked in a private company and was found to have contracted the Coronavirus. He was then placed under isolation and had to wear a quarantine band.

The wife told the police that the man had been depressed during the isolation period and appeared troubled on the fifth day itself when the tragedy occurred.

Ignoring his wife’s advice to avoid going out of the house in his sickly state, the man took his car and drove himself and his wife toward the bridge.
