Motorists in UAE are reminded to give priority for pedestrians by reducing their speed at pedestrian crossings.
The Abu Dhabi Police, represented by the Traffic and Patrols Directorate, revealed that there were 15,588 violations during the first half of 2020.

Many motorists did not give way to pedestrians at designated areas and did not comply with the reduced speed limit near pedestrian crossing lines.
Authorities remind the public that motorists will be penalized and fined AED 500 and six black points.
