Saudi Arabia has partially lifted the curfew restrictions across the Kingdom until May 13, Saudi Press Agency reported.
According to the order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, residents in the majority of the cities are now allowed to go out between 9 AM to 5 PM, except in Makkah and previously isolated neighborhoods, where the 24-hour curfew continues.
The order also permits the reopening of some businesses until May 13, including malls, wholesale shops, and retail stores. Businesses like beauty parlors, salons, gyms, cinemas, and restaurants will remain closed.

The decision follows the recommendation of health authorities to enable the reopening of some economic activities and relive citizens on the Holy Month of Ramadan. The order has also commanded authorities to ensure observance of preventive measures set by the Ministry of Health.
Social distancing is also strictly implemented at all times, and social gatherings must not exceed five people at a time. Violators will be slapped with penalties, while businesses that will not adhere to the guidelines will be closed down.
