A woman is taking on her experience at the Manila Bay artificial ‘white sand’ project to the next level after she wore a bathing suit in the area on Sunday.
Mesmerized with Manila Bay’s new look, Renaly Macato donned a swim wear while enjoying the baywalk’s white sand feature made of crushed dolomite rocks.
“The depth of my beauty is like this bay – it is immeasurable by the surface,” she said on her Facebook post.
Like Macato, hundreds of Filipinos flock to Manila Bay over the weekend to personally experience the government’s beautification and rehabilitation project.
However, it led to a neglect of social distancing among spectators.
The hashtag Manila Bay challenge trended on Twitter.
Netizens did not miss the idea of creating memes out of this online challenge. One online user posted a photo of the Korean boy group BTS.
