Even the lifestyle and entertainment arena is now witnessing the emergence of robots, as new analysis showed how several virtual influencers have been earning millions of dollars a year.
In the data released by British online marketplace OnBuy in August, it showed the top three robot or CGI Instagram influencers who have been earning over $656,000 to as much as $11.8 million in a year—a feat not many human influencers have achieved.
“They are becoming a real force to be reckoned with in the influencer marketing industry, taking social media by storm. And with more and more emerging on Instagram every week, and brands queuing up to work with them, could this be the end for human influencers?” Daily Mirror quoted OnBuy as saying.
