WATCH: Youtuber creates improvised ‘face mask shooter’

A Youtube vlogger has introduced an improvised pneumatic gun that literally fires face mask to face of those who refuse to wear one.

Allen Pan, who runs the Youtube channel “Sufficiently Advanced”, uploaded his video three days ago saying the “American problem demands American solution”.

The pneumatic gun is loaded with a surgical mask fitted with a double-sided foam adhesive that allows it to stick to the face of a recalcitrant.

In order to make sure the airborne mask lands at the right spot, a laser is used.

Tube nuts provide the straps with just the right amount of weight to wrap around people’s heads.
Powering the projectile are CO2 bulbs that generate 800 psi of pressure.

Pan first tested it on the head of a manequin before testing it out on himself.

He then brought it to Huntington Beach, which is one of the most anti-mask cities in southern California.

His equipment broke at first, but he was able to fix it.

Contrary to what he believed, many beachgoers and locals at that time were actually wearing masks when he went around.

Later on, he asked a group of beachgoers to try out his invention. The woman, he interviewed, said she would likely use it for people to wear masks as part of the preventive measure against COVID-19.

Pan has over 1 million subscribers on his Youtube account and the video he uploaded has already gained 1.1 million views, as of this writing.
