An Emirati has shared a heartwarming message for Filipinos in the UAE and across the world about what the UAE is doing to ensure the safety of its citizens and residents, and to convey the country’s solidarity as the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) continues to spread in various countries.
Mayed Al Sakhawi, a half-Emirati, half-Filipino whose mother hails from Nueva Viscaya in the Philippines, shared updates on what the country is doing for those who need assistance and affirms the country’s support for those who are currently within the country who have contracted the virus, in a video message posted at Al Ittihad’s YouTube channel.
He also assured that all of UAE’s citizens and residents who have fled from Wuhan, China and are currently staying at the Humanitarian City in Abu Dhabi is receiving treatments that’s at par with world standards: “Ang Humanitarian City sa Abu Dhabi ay nagbibigay sa ating mga bisita ng mataas na antas ng pangangalaga sa kanilang kalusugan.
Al Sakhawi likewise assured that the UAE treats all of its citizens and residents as one family, especially during these times.
