The resemblance is uncanny!
There was a photo that did rounds on Twitter last November from the University of Washington’s archive that shows three children using a machine in a gold mine during the Klondike Gold Rush in 1898.
However, one of the children in the image has a famous look-alike, and it’s the 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg.

Netizens were amazed upon the resemblance of the girl from 1898 and Thunberg, they even made speculations that the Swedish activist might be a time-traveler.

The amusing internet conspiracy theory even made one Twitter user assume that she did not time travel, hence, she was the reincarnation of the girl back in 1898.
Greta Thunberg rose to prominence in leading the biggest climate protest in history, with 7.6 million people across 185 countries coming all together in September. She also addressed the attention of the United Nations, US Congress, and the UK Parliament.
Recently hailed as the ‘TIME’s Person of the Year 2019’, she will surely make a huge difference for the following years, making our world a better place with our help, one step at a time.
Whatever conclusion was drawn from the internet viral, one thing is for sure: Greta Thunberg proved to us that no one is too young to inspire others to serve their purpose in life.
