First Emirati astronaut Hazzaa Al Mansoori gave his Twitter followers a glimpse of his current mission in outer space.
“Captured aboard the ISS. my first photo of the Soyuz spacecraft,” Al Mansoori shared a photo on Twitter.
He followed it up by asking more than 43,000+ of his followers to guess his current location.
“I took this photo from 400km above Earth. Can you guess the place?,” he shared.

Some netizens say that it could be the Grand Canyon while other say that it is part of the Middle East.
Al Mansoori has yet to confirm the location of his second photo.
Al Mansoori is part of the three member crew of Expedition 61, along with Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka as Commander and NASA astronaut Jessica Meir as Flight Engineer 1.
He is studying the impact of microgravity aboard the International Space Station.
“By living in the International Space Station… it will give us more knowledge and more understanding of how we can go beyond this. To go to the Moon and to Mars eventually,” Al Mansoori said in July.
Al Mansoori was a former military pilot flying the F-16 jet.
