Quintana is optimistic that MNHS will not only get support from the local entities in the Philippines, but moreso from Abu Dhabi and the UAE’s Filipino business and community groups. “It’s important to acknowledge that this is an international award. It’s going to be a lot of preparation but look at the turnout! Kudos to PBC and to our leaders here. This just goes to show na may support ang ganitong mga achievements natin.” said Quintana.

PBC Abu Dhabi President Deborah Dayrit affirms MNHS that they will provide all the support they can give to make sure that the project achieves its goals. “This is a community of highly professional global Filipinos who are into business, into community activities and actively participating to benefit everyone in various aspects, including economic advantage. That is the kind of welcome that we want to give the Muntinlupa National High School. Ang inyong community po na mag su-suporta dito sa inyo ay committed kami na gawin ang best namin para sa ikauunlad ng atin pong napanalunan. Kayo ay ang (source of) pride namin,” said Dayrit.

Let us join our forces together to promote the sustainability of this project,” said Casao.

MNHS will receive a $100,000 (Php 5.2 million) grant as part of their prize. The 2019 Zayed Sustainability Prize was awarded at the recently held World Future Energy Summit, part of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
