Meet the handsome policeman in PH who used to work in Dubai

Netizens are swooning over a policeman from Tondo, Manila who looks like he came straight out of a magazine.

Photos of PO1 Lucky Galang went viral on social media over the past few weeks and many tagged him as the “Police Bae of Tondo” because of his good looks.

His photos were widely shared online that he even got featured on GMA-7’s weekly lifestyle show “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho”, wherein he shared stories from his past.

Galang shared in the said show that he grew up in an area in Tondo, Manila where crime is prevalent. He said that witnessing crime happened before his eyes when he was still young urged him to be a policeman.

Considering that he has the looks for it, Galang also admitted that he tried his luck in show business. He auditioned to be part of GMA’s talent search competition “Starstruck”, and also had a few modelling stints.

He also studied Business Administration in college while working as a model and attending acting workshops.

However, his showbiz career did not take off and he chose to fly to the UAE be an overseas Filipino worker instead.

For a time, he worked as a teller in a foreign exchange company in Dubai.

“Ang hindi okay sa pagiging isang OFW ay ‘yung malayo ka sa pamilya. Nagvi-video call kami pero iba pa rin ‘yung kasama mo ang pamilya mo eh. Mas masaya at saka hindi matatawaran yung happiness kapag family kasama mo sa Noche Buena,” he said.

He also met the love of his life in Dubai, his wife Christine.

Galang said that he was always with Christine during his last year in Dubai. They would always spend time with each other to forget the loneliness of being far away from home.
Eventually, the two of them returned to the Philippines and started building their family.

Upon his return, he immediately started to make his childhood dreams come true — to become a policeman. He took the exams and underwent training to make it happen.

Right now he is taking more training to become an aviation security in the country’s biggest airports.
