LOOK: Mickey Mouse dons Barong Tagalog in Manila

The famous Disney character Mickey Mouse paid a visit to the Philippines and he is all about celebrating the Filipino spirit.

A Mickey Mouse mascot recently went around the country’s capital and toured around Luneta Park, Intramuros, and Manila Bay as part of the celebration of the lovable Disney character’s 90th anniversary.

The said photos were uploaded on the Facebook page of Oh My Disney Asia and have since gained over 10,000 reactions as of press time.

Being the official mascot of The Walt Disney Company, Mickey Mouse was created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks at the Walt Disney Studios in 1928.

He is one of the most recognizable cartoon characters in the world after appearing on several films, television shows, video games, comic strips, theme parks, merchandise items, and many more.

Mickey Mouse has also reach celebrity status after receiving several recognitions, including Academy Award nominations and a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
