We have all conjured our dream houses in our minds, with everything planned down to the smallest detail –what materials to be used and maybe even the color of its walls. For many, it is not just about having your own space; putting up your dream house speaks more about your life’s milestones, a product of years of hard work.
These five FIlipino celebrities made their dream a reality at such a young age. They were able to buy their own homes in their early 20s.
1. Julia Barretto, 21
Actress Julia Barretto is now reaping the fruits of her hard work. After starring in a number of successful films in the past years, she gave herself a reward that she will forever cherish – a new house.
The 21-year-old actress posted on Instagram some photos of her house, which is still undergoing construction.
“That’s me sitting on the 1st floor of my almost finished home. It’s getting real,” Barretto wrote on Instagram.
Barretto first revealed plans of putting up her own house back in October 2017. She currently lives with her mother, Marjorie Barretto, and other siblings.
2. Daniel Padilla, 23
Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla bought his two-storey modern Mediterranean house in 2015, before he turned 20.
Padilla built his house on a 1,000-sqm lot located in an exclusive subdivision in Fairview, Quezon City.
Padilla gave a tour of his house and was published in an article for YES! Celebrity Homes 2015. This is their family’s first home after over two decades of living in rented houses.

3. Julia Montes, 23
In an interview with Kris TV last 2015, the “Asintado” actress revealed that she purchased a new house located in the same village where the home of her good friend, Coco Martin, stands.
In the interview, she said that she has bought a 300 sqm house with three bedrooms, a walk-in closet, and a gym.
Montes was able to find her dream house with the help of her “Goin’ Bulilit” co-star Trina Legaspi.
Montes also has another house in Valley Golf in Cainta.
4. Awra Briguela, 14
Child actor and comedian Awra Briguela is the youngest star on this list. After starring in the films, “The Super Parental Guardians” and “Ang Panday”, and in the TV series “Ang Probinsyano”, Briguela has come a long way from being an internet sensation.
At the age of 14, Briguela now has a property to his name after winning a 91 sqm two-storey house and lot from “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids”.
Briguela gave a tour of his new home during an episode of “Tonight with Boy Abunda”.
5. Kiray Celis, 22
Former child star Kiray Celis previously shared on Instagram Stories that she has purchased a house for her family worth Php5 million.
“Sa tagal naming nangungupahan, ngayon may matatawag na kaming sarili naming tahanan. Natupad na ang pangarap kong mabilhan ng sariling bahay ang pamilya ko,” she wrote.
“Kaya ikaw rin, kaya mo yan. Walang imposible kung mangangarap. Gawin mong inspirasyon ang pamilya mo para makamit mo lahat,” she added.
She also gave a tour of her house with ABS-CBN and she showed some areas of the house, including her SpongeBob Squarepants-themed bedroom.

BONUS: Joshua Garcia, 20
Though he doesn’t have a house yet, actor Joshua Garcia s planning on buying one in the future. The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate said that he is currently living in a rented apartment with his father and elder sister.
In an interview with PEP, Garcia revealed that he is currently saving to be able to build a new house for his family.
