Kapuso star and Starstruck female survivor Shayne Sava has opened up about her traumatic experience when her eyes got irritated and swollen due to contact lens.
On her Instagram story, Sava showed what happened to her left eye. “To those wondering bakit hindi ako masyado naging active these past few days or last month, because something happened to my left eye,” she added.
“Na-irritate siya from contact lens and guys. Ito ‘yung masasabi ko na isa sa sobrang hirap na naranasan ko at ayaw ko na maranasan ulit,” she added.
She reminded her followers to be extra careful when putting their contact lens.
“Be careful when wearing your contact lenses. Be sure to wash your hands and dapat sobrang linis nung contacts before wearing it,” she added.
“I’m telling y’all guys, sobrang hirap talaga. Puro tulog ka lang, you can’t open your eyes properly kasi sobrang sakit talaga niya. Kaya always take care and protect your eyes,” she added.
“There are times na gusto ko umiyak sobra… pero, bawal umiyak kasi nga lalo lang mamamaga. ‘Yung tipong hirap ka talaga gumalaw. Hindi mo magawa ‘yun mga gusto mong gawin, hindi ka makagawa ng something productive kasi nga masakit talaga siya,” she added.
On her recent update, she said that her left eye is healing now.
“It still stings sometimes and namamaga siya ulit kapag natatagalan sa ring light, phone or kapag napapagod siya ng sobra. I hope gumaling na siya ng sobra,” she said.
