The Bea Alonzo-Gerald Anderson break up involving Julia Barretto also reached the attention of Davao City Mayor and presidential daughter Sara Duterte.
In an Instagram post Thursday talking about her conversation with Jay-r Nadela on the supposed ‘ghosting’ of Anderson.
“So I ask @jayrnadela in relation to the trending national heartbreaker, how long can silence be considered break up? ,” Duterte said.
In a previous interview, Alonzo revealed that the two of them did not formally break up and the actor just started not talking to her.
“His answer: No definite length of ime because some people need closure. Well I think there’s nothing more black and white than silence. Because love is never silent,” Duterte explained.
Duterte is one of the latest personalities who reacted on the break up that became an instant ‘national concern or issue’.
COMELEC Commissioner Rowena Guanzon also shared her take on the matter by saying that when two women fight and a guy is involved it is always the man’s fault.
Presidential spokesperson Sal Panelo refused to comment on the matter saying the issue is ‘inessential and unimportant’.
