GMA Network shared photos of Philippine’s version of Alpha Team of the Descendants of the Sun while training in Fort Magsaysay.
Lead actors Dingdong Dantes and Rocco Nacino were covered in mud and all dirt during their intense training with one of the country’s elite forces.
They were joined by fellow actors Jon Lucas, Prince Clemente, Paul Salas, and Lucho Ayala.
The said photos were also shared on Dantes’ Instagram account.
In his caption, Dantes said that the training will help them represent properly the members of the military.
“That is why it is our duty as actors to represent them properly and as accurately as possible on screen. And what better way to do it than by learning with them in their own school!”
Ayala will be portraying the role of Snoopy. Salas will be portraying the role of Marty. Lucas will be portraying the soldier with the call sign Harry Potter. And Clemente will be Piccolo.
It was earlier this year that GMA-7 announced the Philippine adaptation of the well-loved Korean Drama who stars Song Jong Ki and Song Hye Kyo.
