Without a doubt, Sarah Geronimo’s career is at its peak but is she ready to settle down and have a family any time soon?
The Popstar Royalty recently deleted but one single post on her Instagram account, which sparked speculations that she will soon get married.
It was a photo of a sunset with a “5.30” written on it and captioned #GNaSiSarah”.
Some netizens speculated that the letter “G” means Guidicelli and that the “5.30” could mean the date of their wedding, May 30.
Geronimo has still not responded as to whether the rumors are true or not.
Earlier this year, rumors about her tying the know with her long-time boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli sparked after she was spotted wearing a ring.
While many of her fans were happy about the thought of her marrying Guidicelli, her boyfriend was quick to clarify that the ring did not come from him.
He said that his relationship with Geronimo is in a good place but it would take some time for them to make a grand decision.
“We’ve been together for several years, and the relationship has matured, and I think it’s still maturing. It’s not yet perfect, and it’s never going to be perfect. But we’ve been learning so much from each other,” he said after his contract-signing with Viva Artists Agency earlier this year.
“Sarah has grown to be a really strong independent woman. She is continuing to do that,” he added.
He even added that Geronimo was one of the reasons why he decided to make some changes in his career and shift managements.
“That’s why we’re in the same management, para hopefully in the future, we could be more efficient together and really do something cool together,” he said.
However, Guidicelli said that he is not closing his doors to the possibility of him marrying Geronimo in the future.
On the other hand, Asia’s Songbird and Geronimo’s good friend Regine Velasquez said that the Popstar Royalty has previously consulted her about getting married.
“We talk about it, I tell her siymepre nagbibigay na ko ng based sa naexperience ko as a wife kasi she is at the right age naman na, marrying age na siya. Ang dami niyang tinatanong sa kin about getting married, being in a relationship,” she said.
However, the veteran singer said that she is unsure if Guidicelli has indeed popped the question to Geronimo.
“Hindi ko alam, wala namang sinasabi. If that were true, I would have known. She’d tell me. She’d ask me first. Kasi ganun yun eh,” Velasquez said.
