An apologetic Alex Gonzaga entered the office of Edwin Olivarez, the incumbent mayor of Paranaque City on Thursday.
She personally asked for Olivarez’s forgiveness following the spread of a campaign video where the actress/vlogger was caught saying Olivarez has ‘may pagka-maduga’ attitude.
“I felt na I have to personally apologize to Mayor. Sorry po talaga,” Gonzaga pleaded.
Olivarez welcomed Gonzaga’s apology, saying that he appreciated her efforts to reach out and explain her side.
“Yung eleksyon siyempre isang side lang naririnig niya yung kabilang side di niya naririnig,” Olivarez said.
The Parañaque Mayor also commended Gonzaga’s initiative to personally go to his office.
Olivarez also denied that there was a resolution to declare Gonzaga ‘persona non grata’ in the city.
