A female netizen who said that she had a relationship with actor Baron Geisler accused the latter of physically abusing her.
It all started when another netizen on Twitter questioned why Geisler was given a chance to appear on the action-drama series “Ang Probinsyano” when he has a history of hurting women.
Geisler then responded to the netizen saying he has never hurt anyone and that the assault cases involving him are just pure allegations.
“Excuse me. Never ako nanakit. Puro alleged harassment that caused me millions,” Geisler said.
A certain Karen Anne Tolosa, who said that she is Geisler’s ex-girlfriend, then replied to the actor’s tweet saying that he is lying about not hurting anyone, because she has experienced physical abuse from him.
Tolosa also narrated what happened on her Facebook account, while posting a series of photos showing the bruises on her face and body which she claimed was caused by Geisler’s beatings.
“1 YEAR and 3 MONTHS AGO, YOU ALMOST KILLED ME,” Tolosa said on Facebook addressing Geisler.
She also said that she remained silent but she can no longer stand that Geisler keeps on denying the things he had done.
“I let you walk, di kita pinakulong, di kita kinasuhan. I gave you a chance and the benefit of the doubt because you were ‘changing your life.’
“Clearly, you didn’t learn anything at all. You are NOT the victim here Baron Geisler. It’s time you own up to the truth and face it,” Tolosa said.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Tolosa said that she and Geisler dated back in 2012. It wasn’t mentioned how long their relationship lasted but she said that they became friends again in 2018.
Tolosa said that she chose to be friends with his ex-boyfriend to “help him with his sobriety”. Geisler, at that time, was admitted to a rehabilitation center because of his alcoholism.
However, Tolosa said that she felt the urge to speak up because Geisler just won’t stop telling lies.
“He can’t cover up the truth with lies. Masyado niya pinapaniwala yung mga tao na nagbago na siya. Kung nagbago ka talaga, wag ka magsinungaling diba?
“I’m all for changes and chances but I don’t believe he deserves it, or at the very least, has earned it. Let this serve as a warning and an eye-opener to everyone,” he said.
PEP.ph said that they tried getting Geisler’s side on the story but he only sent them a link to an article titled “5 Truths To Remember When Everything Seems To Be Going Wrong.”
