Actress Nadine Samonte, who is 29 weeks pregnant with her second child, was hospitalized due to early contractions caused by her autoimmune disease.
Samonte took to Instagram to share that she got confined after she had been experiencing contractions every five minutes since Wednesday night.
She said in the post that she is still in the hospital’s maternal intensive care unit for monitoring. The actress has also been taking some medicines to help with the contractions.
“I still [don’t] know when [I’ll] be going home,” Samonte said in the post dated March 15.
She also explained in the Instagram post that the reason for the contractions was antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (APAS).
“[I] [can’t] be visited. Nilalabas lang ako pag andyan si hubby pero saglit lang.
“I can’t even see my daughter kasi iiyak siya pag umuwi ng hindi ako kasama. I just FaceTime her na lang and super nagtatampo siya na wala ako sa tabi niya. First time mawala siya sa tabi ko ng overnight or ganitong katagal,” she added.
She also asked prayers from her followers for her speedy recovery.
