Actor John Lloyd Cruz was once again spotted in public seemingly living the simple life.
Over the weekend, photos of the actor buying some street food made the rounds on social media.
As seen in the photo posted by Instagram user @ellen_johnlloyd, Cruz, donned in a plain white shirt and blue shorts, looked like any ordinary passerby eyeing street food being sold at a street corner.
“Likod pa lang, kilala ka na namin,” the uploader captioned the photo.
Another photo was uploaded on the same Instagram page which showed a netizen who took a selfie with the Kapamilya actor while he was buying fishballs in Makati City.
Just a week ago, Twitter user @norminapauline posted a photo on the said social media platform saying she was shocked when she rode a jeepney in UP Ikot in Quezon City and Cruz was among its passengers.
“Yung nakasabay mo si John Lloyd Cruz sa Ikot. Huhu ang pogi pa rin,” the netizen said.

Last month, he was spotted at a fruit stand in Pasig buying fresh durian. In another instance, he was seen eating balut on a sidewalk.
It has been a year since Cruz and his girlfriend Ellen Adarna took a leave from their high-profile showbiz careers. They have been discreetly giving glimpses of their simple life and their son on their social media accounts.
