Bea Alonzo gave a pretty cryptic response when she was asked about Pia Wurtzbach causing some fans to wonder if there is a rift between the two of them.
During the October 14 episode of Vice Ganda’s late-night comedy talk show “Gandang Gabi Vice”, Alonzo appeared as a guest together with her “First Love” co-star Aga Muhlach.
At one point of the show, the two guests played the game “Tanong Mo, Mukha Mo”. During this segment, they were tasked to come up with a question that they would like to ask the person whose picture is flashed on the screen.
The first photo shown was that of Wurtzbach, prompting a shocked reaction from Alonzo. “Agad-agad ah,” she said.
Muhlach was the first one to come up with the question he would like to ask. He said, “Pia, bakit? Bakit? Ano ba talaga? Anong nangyari?”
Muhlach’s question drew laughter from Vice Ganda and various reactions from the audience. At this part, it can also be seen that Alonzo stood from her chair before saying, “Hindi ko ‘to kaya”.
“Hindi ang tinatanong ko ay anong nangyari nung nanalo siya ng Miss Universe?” Muhlach clarified. “Sana rin nakilala kita noon pa,” he continued.
Before Alonzo blurted out her question to Wurtzbach, Muhlach gave her a peace sign and a hug.
“Wala akong tanong,” Alonzo firmly said. “Natanong na ni Kuya Aga ‘yung tanong ko. ‘Yun din ang tanong ko, anong nangyari?” she added.
It was speculated earlier this year that Alonzo’s relationship with rumored boyfriend Gerald Anderson was on the rocks when the latter was promoting his movie with Wurtzbach titled “My Perfect You”.
There was a time when Alonzo unexpectedly unfollowed Anderson on Instagram and even deleted all of her photos with her rumored boyfriend.
But what caused more confusion was that Alonzo also unfollowed Wurtzbach amid the speculations.
However, the issue between them does not stop there. It was also revealed that Alonzo was supposed to wear a royal blue form-fitting gown with a long train designed by Michael Leyva during the ABS-CBN Ball.
But rumor has it that Alonzo decided to ditch the blue gown and change to a red one designed by Vania Romoff so that she will not get compared to Wurtzbach, who is known for her iconic blue serpentine gown during the Miss Universe pageant.
