Filipino-American rock icon Francisco Gaudencio Lope Belardo Mañalac or Bamboo is already on his way to Dubai for his one-night free concert for Filipinos in the UAE.
In a video posted on Instagram, Bamboo showed his plane ticket to Dubai and invited Filipinos in the UAE to watch his concert.
“We’re all about to leave for Dubai. See you in a few hours. Please have a good one, enjoy,” Bamboo said on his post.
The concert will be held on Friday, October 12, at Dragon Mart 2, 7:30 p.m. featuring fellow Filipino musician Barbie Almalbis.
The coach in The Voice Philippines began his career as the front man of Rivermaya and later on organized his own band and namesake. He released his first album as a solo artist titled No Water, No Moon in 2012 and his second album titled Bless This Mess in 2015.
Bamboo is noted for his raspy vocals and mellow-rock songs combined with an energetic performance.
His free concert will be his second visit in Dubai this year.
