Raquel Pempengco, the mother of Jake Zyrus who was formerly known as Charice Pempengco, is not yet done with throwing tirades to her child after the latter called her “evil” and “abusive” in his book.
As seen in Raquel’s recent Facebook post, she shared a quote card which asks the question, “What will you do with the P700 million Lotto jackpot prize in case you will win?”
Raquel answered the said question by, “Kung sakaling manalo ako, ibibigay ko kay CHARICE… para hindi na nya gawin pa ang pambababoy sa pagkatao ko at di nya na ako gawing masama sa madlang people.”
It is noticeable that Raquel addressed her child as “Charice” which implies that she still can’t accept Jake’s transition.
She ended her post by saying “Pagsisisihan mo yan balang araw”.
It can be recalled that Jake made some shocking revelations on his book “I Am Jake” about the abuse he has experienced from his mother.
In the second chapter titled “Mommy Dearest”, Jake started off by saying that he “doesn’t know his mother”, and elaborated on the kind of maltreatment he has experienced from her ever since he was a kid.
Jake said that he experienced getting beaten up with shoes, belts, and broom by his mother. He added that Raquel would also emotionally torment him, especially when he revealed his true sexual orientation, by creating fake accounts on social media to send him hate comments and messages.
There were also parts in the said chapter of the book where Jake called his mother his “evil queen”, “secret antagonist”, and other nicknames.
Afterwards, many netizens noticed that Raquel went on to change her Facebook nickname to “Evil Queen”.
ISSUE WITH JAKE’S GRANDMOTHER
Aside from Jake’s revelations on his book, another family issue that is being talked about is the fact that the singer has not yet visited her grandmother Tess Relucio who is currently confined at a hospital.
Raquel said in a Facebook post that Tess only wants to see her “favorite grandchild” referring to Jake.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Jake said that he doesn’t know why his family members would come running to him to ask for financial help whenever they get sick.
However, Raquel countered and said that they are not asking for money and they just want Jake to visit his grandmother.
