Dawn Zulueta took to social media to call out some of her fans who disrespected and made rude remarks about Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
It all started when fans of Zulueta posted an edited photo of Cuneta, Richard Gomez and Kathryn Bernardo which was taken when they announced their movie project, “Three Words To Forever”.
Those who prefer Zulueta and Gomez’s on-screen partnership (CharDawn) more decided to crop out Cuneta out of the photo and replace her with Zulueta.
Online bashers said that Zulueta should have been chosen to play Cuneta’s role because the latter doesn’t fit the part. There were even some who fat shamed Cuneta saying she is “too big”.
“Tama, she is too big,” Twitter user @_sofiasyndrome said on social media.
Other users with the handles @sandraagabriele and @akrylle agreed with the basher echoing her comment that Cuneta was “too big”.
The netizens’ comments raised the brow of one of Cuneta’s fan who said, “What heck did you do sa pic na ‘to? Ganyan kayo kabastos? Di kayo nahihiya kay Dawn. Ganyan pala fans ni Dawn”.
Twitter user @BetchayTmu then too screenshots of the comments on Twitter and asked Zulueta to reprimand her fans for such attitude.
“Hi po, Miss [Dawn Zulueta], look at how rude your fans are. Nakaka-proud po ba sila? Or do you even know na may mga fans kayo na ganyan kabastos? Kasi kami pong mga Sharonians, never ka namin binastos ng ganyan, because we know how to show respect,” @BetchayTmu wrote.
Upon learning about her fan’s rude comments, Zulueta called out her fans for their behavior.

Some of Zulueta’s fans apologized to Cuneta and the latter’s fans. Meanwhile, the bashers involved made their Twitter profiles private after the incident.
