Actress Sunshine Cruz took to social media to call out her former husband Cesar Montano for not providing enough financial and emotional support to their three daughters.
On Wednesday night, Cruz uploaded a series of photos on her Instagram account which many netizens speculated were direct attacks to Montano.
One of the photos she uploaded said that a true father will willingly support his children, even without legal conditions
Another one of the photo reads, “A good father is a man who supports his children even when he has no money”.
While the last photo shows a quote that says “There is a big difference between ‘CAN’T’ and ‘IT ISN’T JUST A HIGH PRIORITY.”
Because of the actress’ post, many jumped speculate that Montano has neglected his responsibilities to his children ever since he and cruz separated.
There was one netizen who told Cruz to no longer publicize their family problems, but the actress replied by saying, “Thanks for the advice. Have been doing that for the past years! Unfortunately, walang positive effect”.
“The more na nagiging grabe dahil palagi kaming nagpapasensya, tumatahimik at nagbibigay,” she added.
Cruz also revealed that she has already filed a complaint against her ex-husband.
Cruz and Montano separated in 2013 after 13 years of marriage.
After they called it off, Cruz pressed charges against Montano saying that the actor violated R.A. 9262 or the Violence Against Women and Their Children (VAWC) Act after she experienced three instances of domestic abuse.
