Perennial love team Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo proved that they can live up to their box-office royalty reputation after their new romance film, “The Hows of Us”, earned more than P100 million after just three days.
Star Cinema said that the new KathNiel movie has earned around P116.9 million in ticket sales as of September 1 which is only three days after it hit Philippine cinemas.
Prior to reaching the P100 million mark, “The Hows of Us” earned around P35.9 million on its first day, and reached P70.7 million on its second day.
According to ABS-CBN, the movie, which was directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, talks about the romantic struggles of Primo and George who have been committed in a long-term relationship.
Bernardo took to her own social media account to thank her fans who have watched the film.
“Walang sawang pasasalamat po mula sa amin,” she said on Instagram.
According to Facebook page Kapamilya Entertainment, “The Hows of Us” will have its international screening in the Middle East starting September 6.
