On-screen love team Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla have apparently been real-life lovers for five years now.
Bernardo and Padilla made the confirmation during the press conference of their upcoming movie “The How’s of Us” on Wednesday saying that they are indeed in a long-term romantic relationship.
“Basta more than five years na,” Padilla simply said when he was asked how long they have been together.
The premier love team was formed in 2012 and the two Kapamilya stars have been inseparable since then.
Proving that they have grown and matured ever since their teenage years, Bernardo, 22, and Padilla, 23, even admitted that they have talked about settling down.
Padilla even drew reactions when he said that he is sure that Bernardo is the one for him.
“‘Yun naman talaga dapat ang puntahan namin,” Padilla said referring to him tying the knot with Bernardo.
However, he was quick to say that their marriage will not happen any time soon.
“Nag-uusap kami about that, yung pupuntahan namin, ‘yung sa bahay. Problema magkaiba ‘yung dream wedding ko sa dream wedding niya,” Bernardo said explaining that she wants a beach wedding but her boyfriend prefers to get wed in a church.
In case they will get married, Padilla said that all of their fans should be there to witness the event.
“Siyempre pinanood nila yung journey namin mula simula,” he said.
