Junior New System, a dance group composed of Filipino members, is set to perform in the live quarterfinals of the 13th season of America’s Got Talent starting August 14 as part of the show’s top 36 acts.
During the Judge Cuts rounds of the show, the group busted out their hip hop moves with jaw-dropping flips and tricks.
Just like their audition, they added some twists to their routine by replacing their sneakers with glittery gold heels.
Their performance even got a standing ovation from judges Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Heidi Klum, and guest judge Ken Jeong.
They also received praise from the judges for their performance.
During the auditions back in May, the group’s story touched everyone’s hearts when they revealed that they are street children in the Philippines who dream of performing in the world’s biggest stage.
Before they joined America’s Got Talent, Junior New Society also competed in Asia’s Got Talent wherein they earn the contest’s “Golden Buzzer”.
They were also named as Senior Grand Champion of the World in the 2016 World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA).
