Another Filipina model was chosen by one of the world’s biggest lingerie and beauty brands, Victoria’s Secret, to be featured in one of their campaigns.
Ambra Battilana Gutierrez, 26-year-old Filipino-Italian model, took to Instagram to share a photo which was taken from her Victoria’s Secret photoshoot held at Hudson Studios.
The photo shows Gutierrez donning a two-piece lingerie and a white robe with the skyscrapers in New York as her background.
The Filipina model also showed one of the official photos on her Instagram Stories.
Speaking to PEP.ph, Gutierrez thanked the known American lingerie brand. “Working for them is beautiful, they all are amazing people and very nice and easy to work with,” PEP.ph quoted Gutierrez as saying.
She is also hoping to be the first ever Filipina model to ever walk on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which is an annual fashion show held by the brand which features the most famous models and music artists.
“I don’t know about the show yet, but I’ll work hard to be ready for it in case it will happen. I’m proud to keep the Philippines up in the world, with my other colleagues, too. I’m happy to show the world what the Philippines can offer with our kind of beauty,” she said.
Aside from Gutierrez, other Filipino models, like Janine Tugonon and Kelsey Merritt, have also worked with Victoria’s Secret.
