TV hosts Kris Aquino and Cristy Fermin have reunited, setting aside their past feud, after more than two years.
Aquino guested on Cristy Fermin’s radio show, titled “Cristy FerMinute”, on Radyo Singko 92.3 News FM and was shown on Aksyon TV41 last June 7.
Many listeners tuned in to their reunion since there was reportedly a bad blood between them two years ago, which prompted Fermin to leave the now-defunct ABS-CBN weekly talk show “The Buzz”.
Kris’ camp approached Fermin and found a way for the Queen of All Media to appear on her radio show, reported PEP.ph.
In the two-hour long radio show, Aquino talked about her previous misunderstanding with Fermin, the real score between her and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, her past relationship with James Yap, and the recent controversy involving her and Presidential Communication Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson, among other issues.
In the interview, she spilled the beans about the much-talked about ring that Bautista gave her.
Aquino revealed that she chose the ring herself but when Bautista was about to pay for it, his credit card was declined. So, she used her card instead, but she clarified that the mayor paid it to her immediately.
Kris also declared that she has no plan of running for senate. She also revealed that she promised SAP Bong go to campaign for him, but she warned him that she should not leave the “most powerful” man now in the Philippines, referring to Duterte, and let others to usurp his place.
“Ma’am, hindi po namin hawak si Mocha. Nagsorry na kami ni PPRP. Mas importante po ‘yun,” Kris read the response of Go after Uson dodged to apologize for the video she posted on her Facebook.
After the interview, Aquino posted a live video on Facebook, wherein Fermin clarified that everything is well with her and the Queen of All Media.
“Diba palagi ko namang sinabi na si Kris ang aking alibughang anak, bratty pero hindi mo itatapon,” she said.
“Sobrang masaya ako kasi lagi akong natutuwa sa mga taong bumabagsak […] pero bumabangon sa sarili niyang paraan,” Fermin said referring to Aquino.
