Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married on May 19 in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Their wedding was broadcasted live all over the world and was watched by millions of viewers.
Prince Harry and Meghan received the titles Duke and Duchess of Sussex, respectively, after their royal wedding.
Boxing superstar-turned-senator Manny Pacquiao sent the royal couple a short congratulatory message on Instagram along with a photo of him and wife Jinkee Pacquiao with Prince Harry.
“Congratulations Prince Harry and Meghan. We are so happy for you both! May God Bless you,” Pacquiao wrote on Instagram.
Pacquiao met Prince Harry back in January 2015, when he had dinner with the British royalty at the Buckingham Palace.
The boxing champ only had nice things to say about Prince Harry whom he described back then as “nice and humble”.
During their meeting, Pacquiao also gave Prince Harry a pair of boxing gloves bearing the flag of the Philippines and his signature as a gift.
Pacquiao is currently training for his boxing battle with Lucas Matthysse this July.
