It is that time of the year when Facebook feeds would be filled with graduation photos and inspirational quotes, as students let the world know that they are one step closer to reaching their dreams.
But if there’s one person who’s even prouder than the graduates, it would be their parents. And celebrity parents are no different from that.
Here are some celebrity parents who can’t help but feel proud for the academic achievement of their children.
Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao
Boxing icon-turned-politician Manny Pacquiao and his wife Jinkee took to Instagram to express how proud they are of their two children, Michael and Mary Divine Grace [nicknamed Princess], who graduated last March 22.
Michael and Princess both attended Hope Christian School in General Santos City, with the former moving up to junior high while the former graduated from elementary.
The graduation ceremony was held at the KCC Convention in the city’s KCC Mall.
“Hope Christian School Commencement Exercises. Congrats [Michael and Princess]. Love you both so much!” Jinkee said on Instagram.
Manny also congratulated his children through his own Instagram account.
“Congrats to my son Michael and my daughter Princess. So proud of you both!” Manny wrote.
Jericho Rosales
Jericho Rosales is one proud father as his equally handsome son, Santino, graduated from high school from Colegio de San Agustin over the weekend.
In an interview with PUSH, Jericho said that he is happy that his son will now move on to his tertiary education.
“I’m very, very, very happy about and so proud of him because gusto niyang mag-focus sa studies niya, so para sa akin I know that nandiyan ‘yung opportunities sa kanya but he chooses to study so I’m really proud of him,” he said.
As seen on his Instagram Stories, Jericho also talked to some of the school staff to give messages to his son.
Sunshine Cruz
Actress Sunshine Cruz was another proud parent as she witnessed her daughters, Angelina and Chesca, finish another chapter in their academic lives. Both Angelina and Chesca attended De La Salle Santiago Zobel School in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
Angelina also received the “Exemplary Conduct” award, while Chesca was the second honoree in her class.
Sunshine shared her proud moments through a series of Instagram posts.
