Those were Miss Universe Philippines Catriona Gray’s words as she shared a video of her Binibining Pilipinas journey on Facebook.
Paolo Ballesteros has once again impressed netizens with his makeup skills. This time, the 35-year-old Eat Bulaga host transformed into Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray through the power of contour.
Paolo captioned his photo as “Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2018 Cartolinang Gray”.
Aside from Gray, Ballesteros has also transformed into other beauty queens like the recent Miss Universe winners Pia Wurtzbach from the Philippines, Iris Mittenaere from France, and Demi-Leigh Peters from South Africa.
On the other hand, Gray, in collaboration with photographer Jolo Luarca, took it to her social media account to share her inspiring journey all throughout the prestigious national beauty pageant exactly a week after taking home the highly coveted crown.
“Cannot grasp that exactly ONE WEEK AGO these magical moments happened. A huge thank you to the very talented lensmen [Jolo Luarca] who has preserved them forever in film. I can’t wait to document our journey to Miss Universe!” she said.
Gray also left an inspiring message to her fans by saying that they should do everything to reach their wildest dreams.
“To everyone who ever had a dream but was scared to try, afraid to fall, there will be challenges, people who will try and put you down and trip you, there will be risks and moments of doubt, but keep going, keep hustling, stay true to yourself and to the ambition that God placed in your heart. I hope my journey inspires you in whatever you pursue. Dreams do come true,” she said.
During the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night, Gray also took home three major awards, namely Best in Swimsuit, Best in Long Gown, and Best in National Costume. She was also awarded 2 out of 6 sponsors/special awards, namely Jag Denim Queen award and Miss Ever Bilena.
This is the second prestigious beauty title crown that she won in the Philippines. She first won Miss World Philippines 2016 and placed as a Top 5 Finalist in Miss World 2016, but she decided to join this year’s roster of Binibining Pilipinas candidates, and brought home the crown again.
