Kapamilya stars and rumored couple Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto caused online frenzy after they spilled the real score between them.
In an interview with ABS-CBN’s morning talk show, Magandang Buhay, Garcia and Barretto were asked by host Melai Cantiveros if they are in a real-life relationship.
Though he was not direct with his answer, Garcia said that what their fans see from them is an expression of what they feel for each other.
“Tulad nang lagi naming sinasabi, siyempre aamin naman kami sa tamang panahon eh. Siguro, naghihintay lang kami ng perfect time para sabihin pero kita niyo naman sa actions namin kung anong nararamdaman namin para sa isa’t isa. Kita niyo naman sa tingin niya pa lang sa akin,” he said.
Last year, Boy Abunda asked Julia Barretto on a seperate interview “Bakit hindi mo pa sinasagot si Joshua Garcia?” To which she answered: “First of all, sino bang nagsabi na hindi pa? Bakit may pag-assume kayo agad?”
On the Magandang Buhay episode, Garcia also gave a sweet birthday message to Barretto who will be turning 21 this coming March 10.
“‘Wag mong kakalimutan na andito lang ako palagi at sana ‘wag ka magbago, at palagi mo lang tandaan na andito lang ako na nagmamahal sayo. Hindi na ako mag-e-expect kung mamahalin mo rin ako o ano pero, basta tandaan mo na mahal kita at sinisigurado ko sa’yo na safe ka kapag kasama ako,” he said.
Barretto replied to Garcia with a message that sparked more reactions from their fans.
“Thank you so much for being very patient with me… I’m sorry if sometimes nagiging mahirap na ako to deal with but thank you for looking past through the hardships and reminding ourselves why we are doing this, and that’s because we love each other,” she said.
