Actor Piolo Pascual sang his heart out to Filipinos all over the world for the Department of Tourism’s (DOT) newest tourism program “Bring Home a Friend”.
The video featured local festivals and various tourist destinations in the Philippines, with Pascual singing, “Now it’s time to come home. I want to stay in my home sweet home.”
DOT launched the “Bring Home a Friend” program on Saturday, Oct. 14, to empower Filipinos to share the country’s beauty with foreigners and fellow Filipinos alike.
“The success of this program lies in our ability to empower people and give them the opportunity to contribute to our nation’s growth, and to continue celebrating the Filipino way of life,” the Inquirer quoted DOT Secretary Wanda Teo as saying.
Filipinos who register at www.bringhomeafriend.online and successfully invite tourists to the country may win a condominium unit, a car or a Duty Free Philippines gift certificate in 2018.
The program will end on Apr. 15, 2018.
